The Truth About the Year 2020 of Unsurpassed Success: It’s a Wrap for 2019
Do you feel like much time has passed and is passing faster and faster every day? Enter the Year 2020 of unsurpassed success upon success with unequaled expectations whose bar gets higher and higher by the day. In the twinkling of an eye, as others will be settling in from the long holiday and the turn of the year, success will be greeting those who are ready to fly and soar (not jog and run).
It is only those who grasp the speed of success – the prepared ones – those are the ones who will be already submitting their success reports within the first 10 days of January 2020.
Success in all areas of life loves speed.
Life is like a ten-speed bicycle. Most of us have gears we never use.
– Charles M. Schulz
Who has not had to make all sorts of choices about what is of priority that is good and important and fun, and then live with the forfeiture of all the other options those choices foreclose?
Let’s Go On a Little Mind Trip
Picture this …
As time gains that momentum of speed, your choices narrow down and their foreclosures multiply in an exponential manner. You arrive at some point on some branch of all life’s sumptuous complex branching – locked in and stuck on one path. But the speed of time through the stasis, atrophy, and stagnation stages flies like lightning.
Time seems to drown you.
Isn’t it that dreadful? But since it’s your own choices that lock you in, it seems unavoidable. To be any kind of grownup, you have to make choices fast, cut short the times of brooding, and regretting over foreclosures and try to move over them or outgrow them.
Can You Relate?
Success begins with yourself. Success is about growing yourself fast.
But let’s face it.
There are times that you are darn exhausted, frustrated, anxious, worried, or just plain freaking out. This reduces the speed to achieve your success, doesn’t it? Successful people aren’t necessarily the most disciplined, but they are the ones that have the best habits.
But the jest of inspiration, encouragement, and motivation from the greats with a proven record to Inspire success in your life and business jolt you back on your lane.
How do you jumpstart the year 2020 with unsurpassed success in tow?
The Best Way to Set Goals to Ensure that Next Year – A Time Like Now -You Are Not Stuck in the Same Murky Waters
Each one of us is unique.
My preference is to grow each day but with a laser-sharp focus on the goals for the decade.
How about you?
Did you set goals for only this year, or for the next five years or for the next decade? Do you spend your day crossing-off to-do lists items?
Lets put a stop to living in a day-to-day crisis management mode.
Pull out your goals.
Let us walk down these 7 steps to ensure that you clarify and identify the central focus of your goals with the intention of taking action to achieve them in the time frames that you have set for yourself.
Step 1. Success List
Your success list (not a to-do list) of what you have to do to achieve your vision and goal must be clear.
Step 2. Action Items
Does it have 4-5 bullet points of action items you must accomplish to attain the goal you have set?
Step 3. Who Will You Work With?
Next, determine whether you already have the people to make this happen, or, write down next to the action item ‘need team member here.’
Step 4. Identify Highest Priority
If you set long term goals for the future to fulfill your purpose in your life, your startup, your small business, your writing journey or in your content creation schedule, what is your highest priority for each of your goals so as to be productive and see higher profits this time around?
You now proceed to ask the right questions so as to get the right answers.
- Someday goal: what’s the ONE thing I want to do someday?
- Five-year goal: based on my Someday Goal, what’s the ONE thing I can do in the next 5 years?
- One-Year goal: Based on my Five-Year Goal, what’s the ONE thing I can do in this year?
- Monthly goal: Based on my One-Year Goal, what’s the ONE thing I can do this month?
- Weekly goal: Based on my Monthly Goal, what’s the ONE thing I can do this week?
- Daily goal: Based on my Weekly Goal, what’s the ONE thing I can do today?
- Right Now: Based on my Daily Goal, what’s the ONE thing I can do right now?
It is almost like peeling an onion layer by layer, till you get to the core.
Having the goals, strategy and vision will get you started, but drive, relentless tenacity and will to succeed increase your productivity. There may be other ways to plan around your goals of this year or this decade.
Step 5. Discipline
The action you start to take today in the direction of your goals grows into a long-lasting habit. That dominant habit(s) over the time frame you have set to see the results of the goals that you have set for yourself, your life and your business depends on discipline. Discipline, when needed long enough, creates successful habits.
Direct your life and steer your startup/business by taking control of your consistent habits. What you do consistently will shape how productive you are at the end of 2020, or five years from today, or in a decade.
As Gary Keller, the author of The ONE Thing: The Surprisingly Simple Truth Behind Extraordinary Results, puts it,
Success is a short race — a sprint fueled by discipline just long enough for habit to kick in and take over.
Success is a short race — a sprint fueled by discipline just long enough for habit to kick in and take over #quote Gary Keller #thextraordinarionly #unsurpassedsuccess #achieveyourgoals Click To Tweet
Thus, your success depends on your habits.
Step 6. Laser-Sharp Undivided Attention
Use the Pareto Principle with your ‘Success List‘ instead of a ‘To-Do List.’ The 80/20 rule (Pareto principle) says that the MINORITY of your effort leads to the MAJORITY of your result.
- 80% of your income comes from the sale of only 20% of the products in your inventory
- 80% of complaints come from 20% of customers
- 80% of website traffic comes from 20% of blog posts
- 20% of your customers account for 80% of your profits
- 20% of your investments account for 80% of your returns
- 20% of your habits result in 80% of your success
So, what you get at the core of your onion, after peeling out each layer, give it your undivided attention. Take 20% of the 20% of the 20% and so on till you identifying the core and most important priority for achieving your goal. Live on your priority.
Do you have procedures and systems in place for every function of your team? Identify opportunities and weaknesses that need attention, and create the system for every role on the team. Do not leave out any piece of the puzzle, from listing documents to closing and social media marketing. Repeatable systems will help leverage your time and ability to move on to more dollar-producing activities.
Step 7. Your Power Team
After writing your goals and identifying your priorities, share with your power team. When you write your goals AND share your progress with the people that you have chosen to hold you accountable, there is a ninety-five percent success rate that you will achieve your goals. When I told my power team of the goal to publish, all the false starts did not deter the purpose. Now there are 4 books all in tow ready for publishing.
Your inner circle or accountability partners should only be people who are going to lift you higher. as advised by Oprah.
When well equipped with these seven steps, why shouldn’t the beginning of the year 2020 of unsurpassed success not be productive filled with profitable sales and increased income for your startup or small business?

How To Tackle Goals That You Have Set For Yourself, Your Life, Your Family, and Your Hustle in the Year 2020 and Beyond
The best way to tackle any goal is with one-hundred percent of everything you’ve got.
How do you do that?
Let us do a small recap.
- Do you have a well thought out plan? Even if it is not well thought out, do you have a plan?
- Have you written down step by step how you will achieve it within realistic timelines that are clearly communicated to your team?
- NOW, get to work. The ACTION is what is going to bring you that unsurpassed success upon success.
Since time is finite, use a state of urgency and speed as your competitive advantage. The faster you implement something, the more success you will see in the long term.
Explore those ideas right away.
If you want to get the investment property that just came on the market, get there first. Investment properties love speed. So it’s not just money.
If you want to get that lifelong partner who has your heart pounding and jumping out of your chest, get there first. Prospective lovers love speed.
If you want to buy tickets from a scalper for a big game that’s sold out, get there first. Tickets love speed.
The power of acting fast on those goals for your life and your day, even monetary goals and making decisions daily is what will lead you closer – as opposed to farther away – to actualizing them.
Reach out to what else you can incorporate to drive you closer to the freedom you dream of. For example, the benefits of the speed of Artificial Intelligence in automation, cloud computing, and big data are both monetary and non-monetary. Risk analysis is performed faster. Worker time is reduced but you improve customer satisfaction, reduce anxiety, and see improved health benefits because diagnosis is expedited.
Work, Family, and Play
So the truth about the year 2020 of unsurpassed and overflowing success adopts speed in each facet and phase of your work, your family and your leisure (play).
All these three musketeers (work, family, and leisure) work perfectly together in your growth hacking to success.
This is the real secret of life — to be completely engaged with what you are doing in the here and now. And instead of calling it work, realize it is play.
– Alan Wilson Watts

The person with an outstanding record of success has these three areas with a checkmark against them. Making time for a balance of work, family, and play may not be easy. Relationships with others, both at work and in your personal life, are an integral part of whether life will be manageable, enjoyable, and successful.
